Simply insert the string through the string hole, pull to tension by hand and begin tuning. As you start to tune, only the locking cam in the string post turns. Once the string is locked, the string post begins to turn allowing you to bring the string to pitch.

This kit is great. I bought this because I know that the seller paired the cutting tool to be the perfect size and it was! Not just that, but the hole cutter was well done and cut thru the 3 layers - laminate, plywood and particle board with ease. The only thing that I would do different, is go to 3" next time. 2" was very tight when running the 2 @ 120 volt cord ends through the cap.

Very sturdy under desk mount

I'm using this with an Asus Prime micro-ATX case on a sit/stand desk, and it works beautifully. It's expandable, so it would have no trouble with a full ATX case. The PC is well supported and there is no wobble whatsoever even when the desk is moving between sitting and standing positions. Highly recommended.
